SINOPSIS:

 Nos situamos en el año 1987.en un pequeño pueblo  un miércoles soleado de primavera. Conocemos a jóvenes que trabajan y sueñan con irse a la Capital, a las enfermeras de un geriátrico, a la dueña de una florería, a una chica que pareciera hablar sola, a unos niños que juegan a la pelota,. también que hay hombres mayores, ancianos, que parecen extraños en la ciudad, que miran a su alrededor con cierta malignidad. Un grupo de amigos cinéfilos (Andrés, Pablo, O’Malley), que suelen reunirse en torno al Videoclub “Laberinto”, y se dedican a escribir fanzines y organizar noches de Cineclubes, alquilan a un coleccionista misterioso, los rollos en 16 mm de un film “Los Errabundos”, de Abel Buce; un film de terror húngaro, que muchos estudiosos consideraban perdido. La noche de la proyección sorprende a los organizadores, ya que es mucha la gente se agolpa en la entrada del cine para ver la película. La película comienza. En la pantalla aparece el director de la película y la presenta. Los primeros minutos del film son desconcertantes. Los personajes en la pantalla comienzan a mirar al público, unos haces de luz salen de la tela proyectada,.  Los hombres que aparecen en la pantalla son los “Los Errabundos” es Deben proyectar el film cada 25 años, alimentarse de las vidas de los espectadores .

SYNOPSIS:

We are in the year 1987. in a small city. We start with a stroll around the city, a sunny Wednesday during springtime. We meet the young people who work and dream on fleeing to the Capital, we meet the nurses of a retirement home, the owner of a flower shop, a young man trying to recover the love of a ex-girlfriend, a girl which seems to talk to herself, a woman cheating on her husband with his boss, the husband, a sports journalist from the local newspaper, a girl longing to be a model, some kids playing soccer in the street, a group of mates drinking beer on a park. We also spot some elder men, they seem foreign to the city actually, looking around them with some sort of malice. A group of movie buffs (Andrés, Pablo, O'Malley and Luis), use to rally around a video rental store named "Labyrinth", and they pass the time writing fanzines and organizing "Movieclub Nights", they rent to a mysterious collector, the 16mm reels of a movie "The Wanderers" of Abel Buce; an hungarian horror flick ,That night gets the organizers by surprise since a lot of people crowded the theatre entrance to see the movie. The movie starts rolling. In the screen, the film Director appears and presents it (much like Carl Laemmle or William Castle dir).. The characters on the screen start looking directly to the audience. Some light shafts come out of the projected screen,The theatre doors are stuck shut. The room turns into a pandemonium, people scream, breaks the seats and starts creating improvised trenches trying to get safe.

We find out then that " They must play the movie each 25 years, feed with the lives of the audience and so, they can rejuvenate.
